EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants?lost top cornerback Janoris Jenkins?to a back injury in Sundays 17-6 victory over the Detroit Lions.Jenkins was hurt when he collided with Lions tight end Eric Ebron in the first half at MetLife Stadium. Ebron was attempting to catch a third-down pass when Jenkins came from the side and delivered a hit.Jenkins was helped off the field by a trainer. Coach Ben McAdoo said after the game that Jenkins took a knee to the back and is being evaluated.In a text to ESPNs Josina Anderson, Jenkins said, Im good. Im fine.
