Alexander Semin netted 51.25 per cent of his contest to squeak by Rick Nash. Matthias combines speed, creativity and a very good head fake in this POY entry. Matthias streaks through the neutral zone with speed, approaching Winnipegs blue line, does a little one-handed shake n bake to dust a tangled Mark Stuart, and finishes it all off with a gorgeous snipe on Ondrej Pavelec. Semin comes up with a brilliant play for his POY nomination, creating opportunity out of what seemed like a broken play.
